Koh Lipe Resort Review - Mali Resort Pattaya Beach

Here is our second night stay in Koh Lipe at Mali Resort, and of course the room is equipped with air-conditioner!

From what I've been research, the price of decent room with air-conditioner is almost double compared to the rooms without air-conditioner in Koh Lipe. The electricity supply in this island must be very expensive. 

We were greeted with a cup of iced-cold welcome drink.

The villa rooms are surrounded by beautiful garden with well-maintained trees and plants.

We were then escorted by a staff to our room.

The Room

Our room type is Villa Balinese Luxury Tropical. 

Very comfy bed!

Very spacious room with a king-sized bed.


Personally love the design of their bed lamp.


Room comes with a small TV.

Mini-fridge + umbrella.

2 complimentary mineral water.

I love this corner the most!

We could sit here reading or snacking while enjoying the little green outside our window.

We tried to have cup noodles at this balcony during evening time but we had to move inside the room because of hyper-active mosquitoes! 

The Bathroom

It's an outdoor bathroom!

There are 2 showers, 2 basins in the bathroom. The water pressure wasn't too strong nor weak, just enough for shower, and there's hot water. 

A small hairdryer.

Toiletries.

We had to clean up as quick as possible during night time as there were a lot of mosquitoes in this bathroom. 

The Breakfast

We sat by the bar corner to have our breakfast in the morning.

We both ordered American breakfast, served with toasts, fruits, 1 hot + 1 cold drinks.

 Xiang had bacon with scrambled eggs.

I had omelette with ham.

I wanted to take a pic relaxing here but sadly we didn't have time!

The compound of this resort is so big, every corner is very beautiful and instagrammable. I wish I had more time staying here and take nicer picture with myself in it.

Pros:

1. Air-conditioned room

2. Spacious room

3. Breakfast included

4. Close to the main activity area

5. WiFi provided, connection was okay

Cons:

1. Expensive - our room is priced at RM 419.56 after tax per night at Agoda

2. Near to Pattaya Beach (which is usually crowded), avoid ocean view room if you're kind of person who enjoys a quieter stay.

3. Too many mosquitoes in the outdoor bathroom during night time
4. No electrical kettle provided in the room
5. Shower pressure isn't strong enough, but it was acceptable

How to get there?

The resort staff will wait for you at the immigration office and help you to carry your luggages. They helped us with carry our luggages and escort us to the immigration office after we checked-out.
